There are nine mechs available to choose from and they have several archetypes — such as the sniper-type Nakurami, the attacker-type Alysnes, and the brawler-type Panther. Almost every mech also includes a premade character pilot with their distinct personalities and backstories. They have various statistics that can affect the mech's functionalities, too.
The game features squad-based combat where you can engage in strategic 3v3 and 6v6 battles. You can also participate in large-scale 60-player PvP encounters. However, there’s no single-player campaign that you can enjoy alone, as the game prioritizes multiplayer servers. Despite this, the game offers diverse mechs and weapons that let you explore a vast arsenal of assault, melee, sniper, reconnaissance, and support gameplay — letting you experiment to your heart’s content.
While it is accessible and immediately simple to play, this action game doesn’t sacrifice the core dynamics and experience of a mech shooter. It’s still hefty and tactical, but the robust combat and deep customization are balanced by a faster pace and a more forgiving learning curve. However, it also makes the combat overwhelming at first due to its flashy presentation. Lastly, the game’s soundtrack library is lacking in variety.
